The Hall of the Sun is Tiberias Calore VI's summer residence. Cal's Queenstrial, the Parting Ball, and the Sun Shooting occurred here before the High Houses and the royal family evacuated to Whitefire Palace in Archeon.
The residence is made of tan stone and has a glittering mosaic floor. There are guards at every door and window.
Spiral Garden[]
The Spiral Garden is a large arena where Tiberias Calore VII's Queenstrial took place, and where Evangeline Samos was chosen to be Cal's queen.
The Spiral Garden is similar in shape to an arena used for First Fridays. It curves downward into an immense bowl, with tables and plush chairs crowding the spiral of terraces. Plants and fountains trickle down the steps, dividing the terraces into boxes, which join at the bottom, and decorate a grassy circle ringed with stone statues. At the front is the Royal Terrace, dripped in red and black silk, with four seats made of unforgiving iron looking down on the floor.
There's an elevated platform surrounded by sheer curtains for servants to stand behind. When a Silver requires a servant, they press a square metal button on their table to flick on a light. The members of the High Houses enter the Spiral Garden through a set of doors that open directly between the royal box and the servants' entrance. There's a sink hidden behind brightly colored flowers so servants don't have to go far to refill drinks.
